For Some, the Doubts Began Early

"Something is wrong with this picture," thought Nathan Lomba, as he watched replays of the Twin Tower collapses on television on September 11, 2001. A licensed structural engineer trained in buildings' responses to stress, Lomba saw more on the screen than you or I. He puzzled, "How did the structures collapse in near-symmetrical fashion when the damage was clearly not symmetrical?"

Richard Gage, AIA, on Coast to Coast AM Leads to Surge of Interest

Because of his very large listener base, George Noory's 3-hour interview of Richard Gage, AIA, brought an across-the-board range of benefits to AE911Truth's efforts. A threefold increase in comments to the website (nearly all positive) brought a number of spin-off benefits, including: suggestions for increasing our effectiveness; volunteers in critical-skill areas (i.e., web design/maintenance); A&E petition signers; and possibly sustaining members.

It is impossible to tell which of the future victories by the 9/11 Truth movement will trace back to this single broadcast. Without a doubt, many seeds were sown, and a large percentage will bear fruit. In other cases, the seeds had already been sown, and this Coast-to-Coast broadcast will help turn lukewarm questioners into committed activists.

Entering the Emerald City

On Saturday, June 27, Richard Gage, AIA, will be giving the AE911Truth presentation "9/11: Blueprint for Truth" at the Seattle Town Hall, following an equally exciting presentation by Erik Lawyer, founder of Firefighters for 9/11 Truth. He also hopes to meet with Washington U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell. Three radio interviews tag him this week and then there will be a cable TV appearance in Seattle at 2 p.m. Check the website for details.

AIA Conference - Round 2

Our second AIA conference will be in our nation's capital, and we are planning a very important politician education effort that requires your help. Please contact your representatives in Congress and schedule meetings with them on either Wednesday, July 15, or Friday, July 17, and Mr. Gage will join you to give them a 10- or 20-minute presentation on the evidence for explosive controlled demolition of all 3 World Trade Center high-rise buildings. This has the potential to be a highly effective tactic. Time is short, so please take immediate action and start scheduling those meetings. If you are successful in arranging a meeting, please let us know right away by e-mailing your name, phone number, the name of your representative and the location and time of the meeting to Dave Slesinger (davidslesinger-at-yahoo.com). If we are successful and swamped with appointments, we may have to do some quick rescheduling to make it all work out. (Mr. Gage keeps trying to be in two places at once, but he hasn't quite mastered that—yet. We need you to be doing what he does!)

About 700 architects are expected to attend the regional AIA convention in Washington, DC from Tuesday, July 14, to Thursday, July 16, and we ask for your help there as well. We need volunteers who are well-versed in the evidence for the explosive controlled demolition of the 3 WTC high-rises to help us educate the architects, most of whom know nothing about Building 7, the third worst structural failure in history. Professional attire will be required for these volunteers, including ties for the gents. We gathered 60 new professional signatories to our petition in San Francisco and we hope to add at least 100 more in the same time period in DC. The more help we have, the easier and more fun this will be, so join us if you can. We are also seeking people to promote our appearance at the conference by leafleting in the street, so if you're a little shy about speaking directly to architects, there is a job for you, too. Our booth will have two monitor screens showing the Twin Towers and Building 7 coming down, and we will have hundreds of DVDs and brochures to hand out. We will also have a separate room where presentations will be ongoing for architects who require more time and detail in examining the evidence.

There will be two AE911Truth presentations outside the Convention Center activities, one at 6 p.m. and one at 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, at Busboys and Poets Restaurant, so send your friends and colleagues.

Ground Work at Ground Zero

Mr. Gage will, of course, be in New York City for the 8th anniversary of the most tragic day in American history. The Real Change and Transparency Conference promises to be a potent "stimulus" for healing and transformation. We will be joined by Erik Lawyer, Citizens Investigation Team, Daniel Sunjata, William Pepper, Kevin Barrett, Ellen Brown, Jason Bermas, and other dedicated 9/11 Truth activists.

Entering the Ivy League

Richard will be appearing at Harvard on or about September 14 or 15. Stay tuned for details.

Heading Down Under

Mr. Gage will also appear in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, Australia, in mid-November and will present in Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand in late November, where it will be springtime in the Southern Hemisphere. Yes, they are waking up to 9/11 Truth everywhere.

Truth Rising in the Land of the Rising Sun

It will be a great honor when AE911Truth is introduced by Japanese member of the House of Councillors (of the Diet, the Japanese national legislature), the Honorable Yukihisa Fujita at our first appearance in Tokyo, with an expected turnout of 500! The next stop will be Kyoto, at another large venue, with six other cities to follow.

Ed Asner introduces Richard Gage, AIA, at Los Angeles

Richard Gage never fails to ask for a show of hands. Counting hands before and after, a staple of the "Blueprint for Truth" address, and the dramatic change in opinions in favor of controlled demolition is one measure of our success. The first stop on the recent AE911 Truth SoCal RV Tour on May 26, Fresno/Clovis, exemplified the hand counts for the entire tour: Beforehand, 18 people believed that fires brought the WTC buildings down and zero after the talk. 27 were unsure before, 2 after. We tripled the size of the hardworking and dedicated 9/11 Fresno Truth group that included Dennis, Trevor, Jordan, Steve and Manuel.

The Tour had gracious hosts for our RV parking and we hung a striking AE911 Truth banner on the RV. As became the norm, we had dinner and beers afterwards with the local hardworking Truth group, where we enjoyed fellowship and strategizing.

Welcome TV coverage was provided by local Fox affiliate KMPH because of the persistent efforts of We Are Change Fresno and Manuel (introduced earlier), a Fox employee. On KMPH's 10pm News, they showed clips from the live presentation and an interview, but failed to show any of the evidence presented with each. A local firefighter hero was brought in to cast aspersions. But on the morning show Great Day, Richard was interviewed in studio, and was able to present a lot of evidence as well as Building 7 on video (!) to hosts who were fascinated and open-minded. If you haven't seen this sharp, well-received 7.5-minute interview, be sure to do so now.

In Los Angeles, Richard was introduced by Ed Asner, who called him "a tireless and tenacious advocate for questions that all too few are willing to ask…and truths that fewer still are willing to face, truths that may shake the foundations of our world view." We were pleased to have heard such encouraging words from this committed activist and famous actor.

Humor: Lusitania Truthers Vindicated

The article "Lusitania's Secret Cargo" in the Jan/Feb 2009 Archaeology Magazine appears to have vindicated the Lusitania “Truthers”
.

The article states:


“The nearly century-old debate about whether the passenger liner Lusitania was transporting British war munitions when torpedoed by a German U-boat is over. Physical evidence of just such a cargo has been recovered from the wreck, which rests 12 miles off the Irish coast in 300 ft. of murky turbulent water.


 “Lusitania was sunk off County Cork on May 7, 1915. The attack killed 1,198 people, including 128 Americans and helped push the United States into WWI. Ever since the ship went down, there have been suspicions [by conspiracy theorists known as 'the Lusitania truthers' (ed.)] that the Lusitania was carrying live munitions. Under the rules of war, that would have made the liner a legitimate target, as the Germans maintained at the time. "The British government has always been evasive about the presence of munitions on Lusitania. Two cargo manifests were submitted; the second, filed after the Lusitania sailed indicated there were light munitions on board. Some believe the ship was carrying much more, however, and that the British Navy attempted to destroy the wreck in the 1950s to conceal its military cargo.”


 Now a team led by County Waterford-based diver Eoin McGarry, on behalf of Lusitania's American owner, Gregg Bemis, has recovered live ammunition from the wreck ... This past September, Bemis's team used a remotely operated vehicle to penetrate the wreck. They were able to clearly identify a vast amount of ammunition in an area of the Lusitania not believed to have carried cargo. The Remington .303 caliber bullets the team discovered on the ship had been used by the British Military during WWI. Ten of the bullets were brought to the surface.
“‘The charge that the Lusitania was carrying war materiel is valid,’ says Bemis. ‘She was a legitimate target for the German submarine.’”



However, the official explanation of events contradicts the conspiracy theorists, and is supported by a study conducted by the government agency, Government Incompetence of Scientific Technology (GIST), after a 90-plus-year, 125-billion-dollar investigation. While GIST acknowledges that “vast quantities” of .303 ammunition may have been found, authors of the GIST study flatly deny that the ammo was in the Lusitania’s hold prior to its sinking, or that it came from America, a neutral country at the time. Using sophisticated computer models, the details of which are classified, GIST scientists have clearly demonstrated that the Remington bullets found were merely random live rounds accidentally dropped by WWI soldiers in the battlefields of Europe. Those dropped bullets then washed into streams and rivers that eventually were carried into the ocean, where they coalesced into a tidy pile inside the ship's hold by a drifting phenomenon called "Tidal Expansion," without causing any harm to the adjacent cargo.
